KAnalysis has been able to secure Patent No. US 9,420,859 B2 on behalf of their start-up client, offering cost effective prosecution support. The patent was issue notification was received on August 23, 2016, after a series of office actions covering numerous rejections.
We had to rework on the draft from scratch, including claim amendments in light of quite a few 35 USC § 102 rejections involving 10+ references. We clearly knew that this was an uphill task, as the examiner had even raised a query for the ‘Title’ of the application. However, the team at KAnalysis was able to satisfy the examiner in a total of just two office actions, amending the claims and specification to get an allowance for the patent, in a relatively short duration.
